A Little About Us

Formed in 2014 the D&A Sports Union has a working remit surrounding two key themes, Sport and Wellbeing. The D&A Sports Union endeavour to use Sport as the vehicle to develop a sense of togetherness and institutional affiliation. Throughout our ranging programmes we aim to provide students with memorable experiences throughout their college journey.

SPORT AND WELLBEING OFFICER

Craig Nicoll, our Sport & Wellbeing Officer plays a lead role in the delivery and coordination of the Sports Union’s competitive and recreational sporting provision.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING OFFICER

John King, our Health & Wellbeing Officer has played a lead role in the delivery of both the Talented Athlete Programme, as well as the Sports Union involvement with the college wide retention project.

    Deadlift – 130kg, Squat – 180kg & Bench press – 105kg

Wellbeing Awards

Reverting back to the creation of the Sports Union, wellbeing has been a key feature within out annual plans and day to day operations. Throughout the years we have achieved a variety of awards for our wellbeing related provision/programmes.
