MEET NEW FRIENDS

Join Up Now

Student clubs and societies are groups of like-minded students who aim to promote an activity on campus. It is also the best way to make new friends and make the most out of your time here at college. Trying a new hobby or taking part in something new is a prefect break from the hard work of studying towards your qualifications.

You can take part in any of the events provided by the Students’ Association or you can decide to start your own with the support of the Students’ Association with people who share the same interests. Not only will you make new friends, you will gain those much-desired skills for your future employment or studies and leave the College with more than just a qualification. Dundee & Angus College, more than just a college.

DRINK WITH FRIENDS

Crack Open a Cold One

This club regularly meets once a week to crack open a non-alcoholic beer and play Xbox games at the Students’ Association in the Gardyne Campus, this is a group to meet new friends and talk to others across the college. It is an opportunity to talk about things that are going well or not so well at college. The students’ association staff will be on hand to signpost you in the right direction if you need help with anything across the college or if you simply just want someone to talk to. We are looking to run this club across all three of the main campuses, if you would like to start this and run it at the Kingsway or Arbroath Campuses then get in touch with us at the Students’ Association.

New times and meeting points will be advertised once everyone is back and starting their courses, watch this space for more information or our social media pages.
ENJOY A CUPPA

Anyone 4 T

This club met twice a week across all three campuses last year and was an opportunity for anyone to drop in and have TIME for a cup of TEA, meeting and TALKING to new people and working TOGETHER to make their time and experience at the college more enjoyable. The club was run by volunteers with the students’ association across the campuses, to take time out to have a chat and some tea, toast and biscuits with their fellow students.

If you would like to run this club at your campus, then get in touch with us at the Students’ Association.

New times and meeting points will be advertised once everyone is back and starting their courses, watch this space for more information or our social media pages.
GAME ON!

Gamer Club

This club was established at the end of the semester last year and only ran a couple of times. Individuals who shared the same interest in gaming brought in their consoles and used the Xbox’s on offer at the students’ association and played games against each other in the lecture theatres or on the screens outside the students’ association.

If you would like to run this club at your campus, then get in touch with us at the Students’ Association.

New times and meeting points will be advertised once everyone is back and starting their courses, watch this space for more information or our social media pages.
