New Latest Update

The Students’ Association are running one of the biggest community events we have EVER done!

From Friday 24th – Sunday 26th July we have an act for everyone! This is a family event that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home.

We have over 30 local acts from Dundee and Angus performing over the 3 days. This will all take place in a private Facebook group.

Tickets are a minimum donation of £2 and all money will go to a new fund we have set up called the DASA Pay it Forward Fund, this is where students and staff members can nominate each other to receive a random act of kindness, which can be anything from a bunch of flowers to a care package with all their favourite things.

Water Refill Station

As we enter a new Academic session, I just wanted to inform our new and returning students of 2 significant Sustainability Initiatives that we will be introducing. As a College, we have made a commitment to try and reduce our use of single use plastic, and so from the start of session, we will not be selling bottles of water from any of our catering outlets.

Staff and students will be encouraged to bring in their own reusable bottles and we have installed Water Refill Stations in the main social areas of each campus. There will also be other water stations located across each campus.

We have also decided to stop providing disposable cups for hot drinks and so again, staff and students will need to bring their own reusable hot drink cup.  Crockery mugs will also be available for use and reusable water bottles and reusable cups will also be available for purchase. I really hope that you will all support these extremely worthwhile initiatives that will significantly reduce the amounts of single use plastics that we generate.

Wishing you all a very successful time at Dundee and Angus College.
